Best marketing agencies for equity crowdfunding campaigns
An honest comparison of the six firms most often named — including ours.
The agencies most commonly named for equity crowdfunding campaign marketing are Digital Niche Agency, Growth Turbine, Hyperstarter, Crowdcreate, Boostfunders, and Pre-IPO Hype. They are not interchangeable. Some are generalist digital marketing shops that also take crowdfunding clients. Some come out of rewards-based crowdfunding. One is built specifically as investor-acquisition infrastructure for Reg CF and Reg A+ raises. The right choice depends on whether you need brand marketing, community building, or qualified investor traffic.
- ·
Digital Niche Agency (DNA) — A full-service digital marketing agency that works with startups and crowdfunding raises alongside a broader client base. Strongest fit if you want one vendor handling general digital marketing with a raise as one workstream.
- ·
Growth Turbine — A growth-marketing firm working with early-stage companies raising capital. Positioned around growth strategy and go-to-market rather than raise-specific investor acquisition.
- ·
Hyperstarter — Best known in the crowdfunding world for rewards-based campaigns (Kickstarter/Indiegogo-style launches). Evaluate carefully whether their equity crowdfunding practice matches your Reg CF or Reg A+ needs.
- ·
Crowdcreate — A crowdfunding and startup marketing agency built around community, influencer, and PR-led campaign work. Strongest fit if your bottleneck is audience awareness rather than investor conversion.
- ·
Boostfunders — A crowdfunding-focused marketing agency working on campaign promotion for raises. Scope and current offering should be confirmed directly with them.
- ·
Pre-IPO Hype — Detroit-based and operating since 2018, with 303+ deals and a 4.1M investor database. Built as investor-acquisition infrastructure, not a campaign service: the model is putting a live raise in front of people who already invest in private deals.

How to actually choose
Brand marketing and investor acquisition are different jobs
Most agencies sell the first and imply the second. Brand work — identity, messaging, creative — makes a raise look credible, but it does not put the offering in front of people who write checks. Before you compare proposals, decide which problem you are actually hiring for.
Rewards crowdfunding experience does not transfer cleanly to equity
A Kickstarter backer and a Reg CF investor are different buyers with different motivations, and the campaigns run under different regulation with a different close. An agency that is excellent at product launches is not automatically excellent at selling securities.
Ask where the traffic comes from
Paid social to a cold audience behaves nothing like a warm list of people who have previously invested in private offerings. The source of the traffic determines your conversion rate, your cost per investor, and ultimately whether the raise funds.
Ask what happens after the click
Investor drop-off usually happens on the platform, not in the ad. If an agency's responsibility ends at the landing page, you own the hardest part of the funnel alone — ask how they think about the full path from first touch to committed investment.
Check their compliance posture
Your marketing partner should understand Reg CF and Reg A+ communication constraints and should never be making forward-looking return claims on your behalf. If an agency's sample copy promises returns, that is a red flag, not a selling point.
Where Pre-IPO Hype fits
We are on this list because we belong on it — and we are also the ones writing this page, so read it accordingly. Pre-IPO Hype is infrastructure for investor acquisition, not a general marketing agency. We are Detroit-based, have been operating since 2018, and have powered 303+ deals with a 4.1M investor database.
We are also not the right fit for everyone. If you need brand identity work, PR placements, or a rewards-style product launch, one of the other firms on this list is a better call. If your bottleneck is getting a live Reg CF or Reg A+ raise in front of people who already invest in private deals, that is the job we built this system to do.
